Confirmation marks the point in the Christian journey when you affirm the faith into which you were baptised.

Confirmation is carried out by the bishop when someone is ready to affirm their faith and their intention to live a life as responsible and committed followers of Jesus Christ. Through prayer and the laying on of hands by the confirming bishop, the Church asks God to give them power through the Holy Spirit to enable them to live in this way.

If you haven't been baptised as a child you can be baptised and confirmed in the same service.
